Terms of Service
By booking a service with Gateway Aerial Technology, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before submitting a booking request.
1. Services
Gateway Aerial Technology provides FAA Part 107 certified aerial photography, video, and drone inspection services in the Frederick, MD area and within a 30-mile service radius. All flights are conducted in compliance with FAA regulations.
2. Booking & Payment
- 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Your slot is not reserved until the deposit is received.
- Remaining 50% balance is due 3 days before your scheduled shoot date. A Stripe payment link will be emailed to you automatically.
- Shoots will not proceed and files will not be delivered until the full balance is cleared.
- All prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
3. Cancellation Policy
- 7 or more days before shoot: Full deposit refund issued.
- Less than 7 days before shoot: Deposit is non-refundable but will be applied as a credit toward a rescheduled date.
- Same-day cancellation by client: Deposit forfeited. No credit applied.

4. Weather Policy
- Flights are weather-dependent. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel any shoot due to unsafe weather conditions (high winds, rain, lightning, low visibility).
- If we cancel due to weather, your deposit is fully protected — we'll reschedule at no charge or issue a full refund at your preference.
- Weather decisions are made by our pilot on the day of the shoot based on FAA safety standards.
5. Scheduling & Availability
Services are available Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time. Bookings are subject to pilot availability and FAA airspace authorization. We will confirm your slot within 24 hours of booking.
6. File Delivery
- Edited photos and video files are delivered via Google Drive link within 48 hours of the completed shoot.
- Rush delivery (same-day or next-day) is available as a paid add-on.
- Files are hosted for 30 days. It is your responsibility to download and back up your files.
- Raw/unedited footage is not included unless the Raw Footage License add-on was purchased.
7. Property Access & Client Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring the pilot has lawful access to the property on the day of the shoot.
- You represent that you have the authority to grant access to the shoot location.
- Any access restrictions, HOA rules, or special requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking.
8. FAA Compliance & Liability
- All flights are conducted under FAA Part 107 regulations. Gateway Aerial Technology holds a valid remote pilot certificate.
- We are not liable for delays or cancellations resulting from FAA airspace restrictions, TFRs, or conditions outside our control.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, you receive a license to use the delivered photos and video for personal and commercial purposes related to the property photographed. Gateway Aerial Technology retains the right to use delivered content in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing at the time of booking.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Bookings made prior to a change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
